Be part of the Infrastructure team to support the KDUK-G internal and external customer base, while adhering to ISO27001 standards and best practice methodology.

Details for the role:

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • To be responsible for the KDUK-G I.T Infrastructure, enabling our systems and services to reside on the most secure, reliable and resilient platforms while consolidating existing Infrastructures and reducing costs.
  • To assist in the planning, change control and execution of all core infrastructure upgrades and
  • implementations.
  • To provide an escalation route for all Infrastructure incidents where 1st, 2nd and 3rd line avenues have been followed.
  • To provide auditing and reporting for all internal and customers I.T infrastructures, to highlight risks and plans for mitigation.
  • To identify new products and technologies where we are currently vulnerable or exposed, particularly from a data security perspective.
  • To provide guidance and support to the wider ICT Services division in line with the KDUK-G I.T strategy.
  • To assist with the expansion of our ICT Services (Comprehensive Services) throughout our KDUK, KDE and KDC business channels, enabling scalability of our platforms and services to achieve this.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

  • Good understanding of IT Managed Services
  • Excellent customer handling skills
  • Ability to communicate service information to a varied and often senior audience
  • Comfortable managing escalations
  • Ability to prioritize work under pressure and strict deadlines.
  • Good familiarity with IT systems, networks and databases
  • Good general overall technical understanding of all new technologies
  • Good understanding of PC hardware, Microsoft operating systems and networking
  • History of working with server technologies

Competencies & Key Success Factors

  • Be an ambassador for great customer service
  • Knowledge of Kyocera devices an advantage
  • Ability to manage escalations
