This role is to promote and increase sales of the Production print solutions portfolio (TaskAlfa 15000ci & Athena range) into the Public Sector market both Customers & New Logo.

Details for the role:

  • Present, promote and sell production print products/services to existing and new prospective customers within the Public Sector market. Cultivate a strong network of external relationships to identify new sales potential to execute on strategies by gaining the trust and confidence of the public Sector Sales channel.
  • Understanding customer requirements and translating this into an offering which will work well and in turn ensuring repeat business.
  • Able to develop strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for production print products.
  • Research and interpret industry trends and competitive information to develop strategies and tactics for future development of the respective portfolio. Analyse market requirements for current and future products by market research supported by continuous contact with sales teams and end user customers.
  • Account management- Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and existing customer relationships in person and via telephone calls and email & Teams.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members and the wider Kyocera UK Group business to ensure that customer orders are delivered within agreed timeframes.
  • Prepare financial analyses and financial projections to support and quantify growth strategies.
  • Location: Field based- the expectation is a mixture of visiting client sites, office working and working from home as appropriate.
  • Other duties are required by your line manager which will be communicated as necessary.

  • Demonstratable previous experience within a production print sales role is essential with prior knowledge of our industry.
  • Full understanding on the Public Sector Market place and the Public Sector Frameworks especially CCS, CPC and CBC.
  • Results orientated, driven to succeed, achieve and exceed targets.
  • Experiencing of using relationship management tools (Salesforce) and competent in using all MS office programs, Word, PowerPoint, Excel SharePoint, Teams etc.
  • Proven experience of negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
  • Monitor performance and analyse results to enable and lead continuous improvements.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Building rapport with customers- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Comfortable in cross selling being able to use initiative to offer alternative solutions to potential customers.
  • Prioritising, time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • Communication and listening skills- ensuring relevant and timely communication with all stakeholders who might be impacted by actions or inactions. Recommending solutions and/or alternative propositions when things go wrong.
