About the role

Kyocera is on an exciting journey to evolve and modernise the way we support our people. As part of this, we are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support our Sales, Marketing, ICT and Finance functions.

Operating at a senior level, this role sits at the heart of our HR offering and plays a key part in shaping organisational culture, leadership capability and employee experience. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, driving people strategies that support performance, engagement and sustainable growth.

This is a hands-on role, combining strategic business partnering with operational HR leadership, ensuring continuity, consistency and high-quality HR delivery across the business.

Key responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with business objectives
  • Support organisational design, workforce planning and change initiatives
  • Use people data and insights to influence strategic decision-making

Talent, Leadership & Culture

  • Lead succession planning, talent identification and development across key roles
  • Strengthen leadership capability through coaching and development
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, learning and high performance

Change & Employee Engagement

  • Lead and support organisational change, including restructures and transformation activity
  • Oversee employee engagement, communication and consultation processes
  • Act as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations and organisational matters

HR Operations & Team Leadership

  • Lead and support the HR Operations team to deliver an excellent employee experience
  • Ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant and continuously improving
  • Support the adoption of new systems and ways of working across HR

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR generalist or HR Business Partner role
  • Strong employee relations experience, including performance, absence, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Ability to step into an established role quickly and provide continuity
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience managing day-to-day HR operations across the full employee lifecycle
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Hands-on, pragmatic and delivery-focused approach
  • Experience using HR systems and people data to support decision-making
