Are you a strategic, creative, and commercially focused marketer ready to shape the success of Kyocera’s hardware and service portfolio? We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead product launches, craft compelling value propositions, and drive market adoption across our Document Solutions division.

Details for the role:

Manage a portfolio Kyocera hardware from launch planning to end of life.
• Work closely with multiple departments, teams, and stakeholders to ensure ultimate sales success of the portfolio.
• Deliver engaging and effective sales enablement to both our internal and external sales channels.
• Support the service strategy and manage the product/service lifecycle.
• Develop new sales propositions and deliver innovative solutions.
• Ensure profitability growth in line with business goals

Market Research:

  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.

 Messaging and Positioning:

  • Develop persuasive messaging and strategic positioning.
  • Leverage Kyocera UK’s value proposition as a carbon neutral, single source managed service provider.
  • Emphasise Kyocera UK’s robust security offerings and compliance with industry standards.
  • Deliver a product roadmap overview timely.

 GotoMarket:

  • Plan and execute effective product launches.
  • Work with the product adoption team to evaluate products/offerings before launching in the UK.
  • Formulate marketing plans and manage the product/offering lifecycle.

 Cross Functional Communication and Collaboration:

  • Align strategies with sales and other teams.
  • Liaise with Kyocera Europe for joint product launches.
  • Maximize marketing/sales enablement opportunities with third-party partners and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with Presales, SOP, Delivery, and Support teams.

 Communications Team:

  • Develop marketing collateral and assets (Internal Comms, Social media, Video, Product sheets, Presentations, Web content) in conjunction with our MarComms team.
  • Launch compelling value propositions to the market.
  • Deliver market leading product/offering launches.
  • Develop buyer personas and positioning for targeted campaigns.
  • Create and deliver product promotions in conjunction with our business planning team.

 Sales Enablement:

  • Provide sales teams with assets/collateral.
  • Align with the sales teams to drive awareness and incorporate market feedback.
  • Develop and execute sales enablement strategy.

 Pricing:

  • Maintain a clear and aligned pricing strategy.

 Customer Advocacy:

  • Cultivate customer testimonials, case studies, and references.
  • Gather and analyse feedback to inform product improvements.

Metrics and Analysis:

  • Monitor and evaluate competitor products and marketing strategies.
  • Measure the success of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

Marketing Skills:

  • Solid understanding of marketing principles (market research, segmentation, positioning, messaging).
  • Product Management experience in B2B and B2C channels.
  • Experience in the office print market would be an advantage but not essential.

 Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create content for marketing promotions/campaigns and social content.

Numerical Skills:

  • Work with sales and market data to maximize sales potential.
  • Create reports and share insights.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, Presales, Service & delivery, and customer support teams.

 Strategic Thinking:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business goals.

 Customer Focus:

  • Understand customer needs and tailor marketing efforts accordingly.

 Project Management:

  • Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities within a budget.
  • KPIs: Profitability of portfolio, sales targets, lifecycle management efficiency/timeliness, and content and training delivery.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and listening skills, ensuring relevant and timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills for market insights and performance monitoring.
  • Proactive approach to marketing and sales support.
  • Ability to build rapport with partners and customers.
  • Attention to detail in product documentation and asset publication.
  • Commitment to ensuring product functionality and quality.
